Global Warming Fraud?

"The Icecaps are melting!"  Does this make you very nervous?  What if the icecaps were not only melting on earth, but on Mars at the same time?  But wait a minute, there are no humans on mars, no factories, no airplanes, no autos, no polluters, and no EPA to stop the pollution!  What's really happening? (National Geographic)

Do you believe in global warming?  Well before you answer this, a lot of major fraud that has been uncovered in the last few weeks have exposed quite a bit of manipulation of the data.  Before they pass all these new carbon credits and taxes on citizens in the USA, perhaps it is time to review some of the new.  Maybe it is a good idea to have a major Senate investigation.  It seems as though a lot of the data supporting global warming was be tampered with. Scientists and journals that has real data that exposed this were routinely discredited and literally frozen out of the scientific community.  It sounds as if there was a global agenda in selling the public that the climate is actually warming.  It isn't!  The story was exposed initially in the Wall Street Journal!  Read the story, this is really ground breaking and yes controversial news.

Global warming fraud uncovered

Although I never bought into the "global warming" theory I do believe that we should take better care of our planet and its resources.  I've made changes like I take my coffee mug with me to the store, I compost my garbage, I recycle my trash instead of tossing it all into the "household" garbage bin... just little thngs.  I'm not at all surprised by the story breaking.  I've felt all along it was propaganda to make a profit for Al Gore and others.  I'll be interest in knowing who all is involved though.

Jim

My wife looked at me tonight when we were having dinner, only to remind me that all of the areas I questioned as not matching up factually, are now the same issues that were tampered with.

Funny, how common sense and a little bit of research works.

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

Hi Jim!  OH, we're SO on the same page about this one--I never believed it and especially not when it was 'created' by someone only for reasons of political gain.  Like Tammy, I do believe that we could take better care of our earth but, don't go blowing false hype up my rear to get me to do it!

Hope you have a great weekend...

Jim, I never thought that global warming was real - and I kept reading conflicting information that was discredited by the scientific community. I really like the idea of a Senate investigation - even though it will cost lots of $$. I don't want this to be forgotten.

Hi Jim, A very good post. I was wondering who would be the first to bring this to ActiveRain. The global warming concept has spurred new industry, and new ways of soon to collect revenue to offset one's Co2 footprint. And I thought the pet rock was a cool idea to show how gullible people are willing to be , to set aside any logic or science and just accept that some things are so incredibly strange, they earned their right to exist on the possiblity of being true.......

It is time to speak out or the taxes we will be force to pay will kill us.  We will not drill for oil and it is the cheapest form of energy and we have more than all the other counties on the planet.

More and more is coming out on how the science was deliberately changed to keep things going.

Jim:  Come on, now.  Don't be so negative and un-believing about Global Warming.  Just think about all the sales possibilities when Atlanta becomes ocean-front property.  A whole new market.

I laugh at people who think that the earth is going to stay exactly like it has been for however long their memory is.  EVERYTHING changes.  Global warming is a hoot.  Glad some of it has been exposed.

Jim,

I'll be kind and say that there have been "misrepresentations" on both sides of the "global warming" argument. That being said, we can all be better stewards of the earth.

I believe that "mankind" has had an insignificant effect on any changes to earth's temperature.

Jim, I have seen the results of global warming in my own country in South America

I go there for vacations and I can tell you going back to memory lane, I visited the rivers and lakes my family took me when I was a child. . they aren't there anymore.

Where I used to fish. .there is a cracked and moist mud-bed

I'm not sure what is directly causing this. . .but it is sad that I couldn't show my children where I use to play

I too have never bought this theory, subscribed to the whole "GREEN" issue and passed on leasing a Lexus RXh....the EARTH has been around for millions of years and had horrible things done to it and SHE is STILL HERE.....Al Gore should be reported to PETA for hiring the Coke polar bears to play on the iceflow!!!

Growing up in Missouri, we used to have cold winters, lots of snow and ice.  Now, we're lucky to see a few light snow falls.  I just wonder what is really happening to our earth.bacuripa

Tammy Lankford/Broker (Lane Realty) Lake Sinclair   Tammy, I agree. We all need to be stewards.  We all need to do our part and not waste resources.  In GA we learned that with the drought.

Frank & Sharon Alters, CDPE-Short Sales Jacksonville-Orange Park-Fleming Island (Watson Realty -)  Well a lot of Senators are clamoring, but it remains to be seen what will happen.  This Global summit that is coming up there will be a major announcement from the US government that will invoke some provisions in the EPA Act that will give them broad powers to do what they want.  This government has already made up its mind.

Richard Iarossi, Crofton MD Real Estate, Annapolis MD Real Estate (Long and Foster® Real Estate, Inc.)  I believe that we need to be great stewards of this earth.  I do believe that we have over polluted, but now we are turning a blind eye to newly emerging industrial nations like China, Brazil.  These are being given a pass.  So we either have a problem, or we do not have one.  Also, caron credits, big polluters can still pollute.  They just have to pay someoneelse not to pollute.  And why does Al Gore have a seat in the company that will be paid for this?  You are either for the environment, or you are a profiteer pretending you care.

Fernando Herboso Real Estate Maryland, DC and Virginia (Key Realty Group-Foreclosures in Maryland,Rockville MD)  In many places in South America the deforestation and slash burning causes more pollution than anything.  There is no conservation in that at all.  The tree burning in Argentina and Brazil places more pollution into the air than all the factories in the world combined.

The buzz word "global warming" and thinking of third world countries choking the skies with soot, green house gases and pouring hazardous wastes down into the local water table with no regulation make your wonder about beyond the US borders. I think we can all agree man...the exploding population is not helping nature's balance with our excesses, lack of stewardship to pass the globe to our kids in better shape than we found it. Another thought provoking post from Jim Crawford, best Atlanta real estate broker.
