Wow, that's an impressive number of golf communities.  The closest we would have here is Palm Springs.

Obviously the Atlanta area is well covered for the golf folks.  We have our share of golf courses as well in the Hendersonville NC area but they have suffered some this summer with the hot weather.  Of course I see those that the heat and humidity (which we normally don't have so much of) doesn't seem to bother to get out there with the little white ball.

Jim - I remember years ago when I want down to Atlanta to visit one of my friends from my hometown and we went to this golf tournament.  And I remember countless days at the driving range and on various courses.  I have not played in awhile and I do miss it !
