Jim - I saw a post about it early this morning.  It was 50,006 when she looked.  At the time I read her post only 20 min had gone by and it was at 50,011.  As of right now - 9:56pm Eastern time - it's 50,160.  Amazing how fast this group grows, isn't it?

Wow, Jim...just think, there's over 50,000 potential addicts! LOL!! Active Rain is an awesome place. The people I've "met" are wonderful and can't wait for the opportunity to meet some of you all in person.

I thought it was just a place to find out about our businesses, but my goodness, the friendships and support are beyond just an online community!

I noticed when I signed on, but didn't see any blogs about it.   There was less than 10,000 when I joined a year ago.  Great site get noticed fast.  We have made many friends and wonderful relationships, besides learning more than we can ever remember.  This community ROCKS!

Yep, I just saw that also. Although the downside is only 929 are currently logged on. Well, I guess it is a Friday night and only us geeks are on it

Craig Smith  That is the way to go!  When you think of it, how many years was my Friday evenings tied up with sorting MLS printouts in a caravan route, calling owners and making appointments for 2 sets of showings on a Saturday!  In that sense, it is good to know I paid my dues.  It is good to have some free time off!

Just some six months ago AR had under 20,000 members, if I recall correctly. And now it's going past 50,000. That's major growth. The word sure is getting around about the network and what it can do for your business. Where is it going to end? Let's help it get even better.

I think everyone is busy talking about the failed sale of AR to the wonderful folks at MOVE.  Now that's something to think about. 

Rita Taylor   Rita, I did not catch the details of that until Bill shared with his comments.

JIM:  I did see some posts talking about the number almost being hit, but yours is the first to acknowledge that it's been done.  It's funny.  I logged on when we were at 49,999.  If it hit 50K when I was watching, I was going to write about it.  I had to leave for a while, and by the time I got back we had broken it by about 25 or so.  I wish I remembered how many were here when I started.  I'm sure that the next 50K will come much faster than the first 50K.

Adam Waldman It was only the grace of God and luck that I saw it at all!  LOL.  Sometimes I have 20 windows open when I am here.

Jim, you should come back.  I got a comment from one of the owners of AR: Are You Worth $60,000?
